My philosophy has always been that an obese body is just a symptom of something larger (no pun intended!) going on. For the next few posts I'm going to take an in-depth look at some of the possible contributing factors. These factors might exist in isolation or combination. They may be rubbish. They may lead to solutions. Whatever they are, they are worth a good look and an honest discussion.
What I will NOT be looking at is eating too much and exercising too little. If you would like to know why, have a quick read of the project background.
I'll try and get one up per week. So far, I'm thinking it will look something like this:
Week 1 - Addiction
Week 2 - Nutritional/Hormonal Imbalance
Week 3 - Mental Illness
Week 4 - Allergy
Week 5 - Sleep Disorders
Week 6 - Stigma/Discrimination
Week 7 - Physical Limitations
